**Title: Warehouse Operative**

**Reports to: Head of Trojan Tools**

**Location: Trojan Tools Ltd - Newton Abbot**

**Job Purpose**

You will help support the operational side of the business and be responsible for stock replenishment and order picking for delivery to our customers. You will also book stock in/out via our computerised system and support the business as needed.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Responsible for receiving and checking all deliveries
- Picking and packing orders for delivery to customers
- Ensure all stock is stored in the correct manner
- Ensure stock is ordered and replenished in timely manner to prevent customer delay
- Liaise with suppliers and handle queries relating to delivery and stock discrepancies
- Keep inventory management systems up to date
- Move and rearrange stock, either by hand or using heavy lifting equipment
- Support with the implementation of a stock and inventory control management system
- Conduct regular stock takes
- Make recommendations for improvements within the warehouse on an ongoing basis

**Key Skills and Behaviours**
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills
- Good all-round administrative abilities to input orders on the system
- Excellent telephone manner
- Resourceful, self-driven and motivated
- Store/ warehouse experience highly advantageous
- Confident IT Skills - computerised stock management system
- Recognition of Health and Safety protocols
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Initiative-taking with a dedicated approach
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- An ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Resourceful, self-driven and motivated
- An ability to work independently and as a team
- A flexible and can-do attitude
- Confident use of logistics equipment i.e pallet stackers and trucks
- A full UK driving licence would be preferential

- Non required for this role

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
