Are you passionate about education? **About the role - Learning Support Assistant** The school caters to primary students aged 3-11 years with an OSTED rated "Outstanding" Resource base with 2 units with one for students with Autism and one for physical disabilities in the heart of Kentish Town. They are looking for experienced LearningSupport Assistants to join their excellent staffing team to work with students with special needs in their resouce bases on a full-time basis. The team are renowned for their staff who have high levels of specialist skill and knowledge, having a positive impacton their students with SEND and so they are looking for individuals who are passionate about working with SEN who can contribute their own set of skills and knowledge to their already excellent team. As you will be working with students who may have socialcommunication needs experience using PECS or Makaton is very desireable for this role but not essential. **About the school-Learning Support Assistant** **T**The school is based in the heart of Kentish Town just a short walk from Kentish Town station and are accessible by multiple modes of public transportation as well as having parking onsite for staff who drive. This Primary Resoure base createa positive and welcoming environment for all staff and students alike, with heavy focus on how they can maximise the abilities of each students. Parents often learn alongside students in the classroom also and get involved in the planning of individual educationplans which have been proven at this school to help students achieve good and sometimes outstanding progress.
