ETRM Technical Consultant - Trading - 6 Month Contract - £650 Per Day - Outside IR35 - Remote Working

Overview:
Our client, a leading Energy Trading provider who have a global footprint within the commodities markets are looking for an experienced ETRM Technical Consultant to join their growing team.

We are looking for someone familiar with the energy trading lifecycle, having experience of ETRM configuration, while also having a technical background in areas such as SQL Server and cloud-based solutions as well as functional skills supporting development teams.

Role & Responsibilities:

- As software configuration SME, understand business requirements and how to translate to customisable solutions via configuration and interface interactions.
- Take responsibility for assigned tasks following a detailed project plan.
- Provide progress to the project manager and deal with issues as the first point of escalation on the project.
- Deliver projects on time based on the detailed project plan (New implementation, Upgrades, Service requests), ensuring billable work is documented.

Skills & Experience:

- Experience of energy trading markets, with a good understanding of market essential for European Power, European Gas and Environmental products.
- A good working knowledge of the full energy trading lifecycle - trading capture, PL, Risk, Back Office.
- Experience working with external parties with such as exchanges, clearing houses or price vendors.
- SQL Service experience including writing SQL queries, understanding SQL schema.
- Experience of working with cloud-based solutions a plus.
- Excellent customer facing skills.
- Familiarity with project or delivery methodologies such as Prince2, PMP or Agile.

Rate / Details:

- £600 - £650 Per Day
- 6 Month Initial Contract
- Outside IR35
- Remote Working
