**BASIC SALARY**: Up to £60,000

**JOB DESCRIPTION**: Service Manager / Aftersales Manager / Special Purpose Machinery / Capital Equipment / PPMA
- As our Aftersales Manager / Service Manager, you will take ownership of the Aftersales / Service department leading a team of 5 Service Engineers from our Alton workshop.
- Holding full profit and loss responsibility for the Service department once you're up to speed, you will manage budgets / engineering resource with a strategic approach to developing additional revenue across service contracts, spares & consumables.
- You will liaise with the sales team on new orders / installations and provide estimates on logistics and allocate engineering resource.
- You will manage new machinery installations including FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) & Customer SAT (Site Acceptance Tests)
- You will work with customers to ensure service contract obligations are being met and resourced - maximising your engineers and charging out to clients as applicable.
- During periods of training, you will visit principal sites across Europe (primarily Italy).

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**: Service Manager / Aftersales Manager / Special Purpose Machinery / Capital Equipment / PPMA
- You're an experienced Aftersales Manager or Service Manager with a proven track record of managing budgets across a Service function.
- You're a mechanically biased Engineer with experience of managing, mentoring, supporting, 'team leading' a service or maintenance team.
- You will understand an industrial process, manufacturing, automated production with special purpose machinery / capital equipment - ideally process / packaging machinery
