Some of the key tasks for this position will involve:

- Being responsible for the stock control and/or maintenance of all Macmillan and third party publishers stock
- Being responsible for the maintenance and development of the training chapters pertinent to the section
- Administrative tasks, including phone queries.
- Undertaking regular training, which applies to the duties of a Stock Controller, to strive to improve the performance in the role
- Acceptable level of education or experience (GCSE Maths/English or equivalent OR good working knowledge of processes and warehousing operation)
- Good working knowledge of PC/Database systems (experience of Vista and Mitrals would be an advantage) and Microsoft packages including word, excel, and Google suite.
- Ability to maintain customer-focus requirements
- Demonstrable customer service experience
- A proven track record in logistics would be desirable

This is an exciting role that will require strong interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask and flexibility to cope with a varied workload. The successful applicant will have training alongside the stock control team.

The position will be 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday and the hours of work will vary between 7am-5pm. This role is fixed term for 12-18 months to cover maternity.
