**The Company**
Nigel Wright is delighted to be partnering with a skills and training provider in their search for a Business Development Specialist.This company group is a not-for-profit charity which supports learning and development across science and technology sectorsin the UK.
**The Role**
The Business Development Specialist will work as part of a small team to promote the training packages and courses the company provides to a range of current and new clients.The BDS will lead client meetings to understand the requirements of the client andeither suggest current packages, or assist in the creation of bespoke packages.Key role responsibilities include;
- Identify businesses to promote company training services to
- Meet clients to gain an understanding of their business and training needs
- Learn the products on offer, and the method of creating bespoke products
- Utilise CRM and social media to generate sales
- Attend exhibitions, conferences, trade shows, and other client facing events to promote company
- Provide excellent customer service and hit sales targets

**The Person**
- Experience in working in a targeted sales role, this does not have to be in the training sector, but transferrable skills will need to be demonstrated
- An ability to build relationship with clients, understand their requirements and sell solutions
- Excellent communication and organisation
- Willing to travel to client sites and trade events

**Salary and Working Arrangement**:

- Salary up to £30,000.0 dependent on experience
- 28 days holiday + public holiday
- Hybrid working
