We wish to recruit a Cleaner to join our established Housekeeping Team.

The hours of work are 6.00am - 12.30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only plus 5 weeks in the summer holidays. Extra hours are available at other times.

**Job Objective**:
To provide the highest possible standard of cleaning service to students, staff and visitors at all times.

**Main Responsibilities**

To clean offices, classrooms and boarding houses, including, but not limited to:

- Dust and polish surfaces
- Clean kitchen and lounge areas
- Clean student bedrooms and communal areas
- Empty and clean bins
- Mop floors
- Vacuum
- Bathrooms
- To carry out any periodic cleaning as directed by Matron

All staff
- To be friendly and helpful and to promote the interests of the School
- To be aware of all health and safety rules including health and safety at work, COSHH, fire and child protection
- To attend all training courses as required
- To undertake any additional, reasonable, duties as requested by the Matron or Estates Manager

This is not an exhaustive list, and will vary as the School’s requirements change.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 31.25 per week

**Salary**: £9.50 per hour
