**Regional Sales Manager**
**Freight Forwarding**, Dartford
**£50,000 - £65,000** + car allowance + bonus + benefits

**The Company**
A newly created Regional Sales Manager is sought by an international market leader within the Supply Chain, Transport-Distribution & Freight Forwarding sector. This global group has developed an enviable reputation for excellence, client service delivery andcapability. Supporting a niche market and now looking to diversify, the business is enjoying ongoing expansion backed by continuous investment in people, technology and state-of-the-art facilities.

Due to increased global growth and year-on-year profitability along with a new regional hub, the organisation is currently seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to take responsibility for a London and the South of the UK.

**Key Responsibilities** of the Regional Sales Manager
- Proactively scoping new business opportunities & leads
- Development of new clients both within the existing niche market but also diversifying to new ones
- Key point of contact for regional customers ensuring the resolution of account issues, queries & developments
- Tracking & management of CRM system, ensuring ongoing liaison with existing clients & follow up of prospective customers
- Management of client relationship through the sales process
- Responsible for tracking new customer information
- Attending team-wide Sales meetings at UK Head Office

**Skills & Attributes** of the Regional Sales Manager
- Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience of working in a Freight Forwarding business or supporting logistics within a procurement, engineering or construction group
- 5-10 year proven sales experience including cold-calling, lead development and business development
- Proven travelling sales experience
- Demonstrate a track record of developing and enhancing client portfolios, generating new business, achieving sales revenue targets and delivering customer value and account profitability
- The role demands a proactive, energetic individual who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with the gravitas to influence key customers in the decision-making process
- Travel to customer sites is envisaged across Greater London and the South of the UK
- This person will need to be on-site in Dartford at least 1 day a week
