- We are looking for an exceptional Domestic Assistant to join our fantastic team at Hopton Cottage Care Home, a 62-bedroom high class care home. You will be joining an established domestic team.

**Your job will include some of the following duties**:

- Ensuring the environment is homely and inviting for both residents and staff
- Carry out all cleaning duties as directed by the Head Housekeeper to the homes High Standards
- General upkeep of communal areas and bedrooms
- Ensure that daily and deep cleaning schedules are adhered to
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene
- To be sensitive to the privacy and individual needs of the residents
- To comply with COSHH regulations
- To adhere to infection control polices at all times
- To ensure all necessary documentation is completed daily
- Completing required documentation to comply with COSHH regulations & Infection Control regulations
- Laundry duties directed by the Head Housekeeper to the homes High Standards

**There are also some specific skills needed to work in this role.**

- Some awareness of the issues faced by people who need care and support
- Some knowledge of health and safety in the workplace
- Good attention to detail
- Being able to cope under pressure
- A polite and courteous manner
- Organisational skills
