**Key Responsibilities**:
- Plan and manage logistics activities, including transportation, shipping and delivery
- Manage inventory levels and ensure that materials and goods are ordered, received, and stored as per requirements.
- Manage the stock and inventory data on Ofbiz to ensure accuracy of data entry and maintenance.
- Manage the dispatch of goods and materials to other locations and ensure they are delivered on time and in good condition:
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Production and Purchasing, to ensure materials are available when needed.
- Manage and control stock takes:
- Communicate with suppliers, place orders, and resolve any issues related to the delivery or quality of materials.
- Communicate with internal and external customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues related to goods in/out.
- Maintain documentation: Monitor delivery note paperwork.
- Supervise and manage staff: Stock Controllers and Drivers, ensuring that they are trained, motivated, and performing to the required standards.
- Implement continuous improvements: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to streamline operations and reduce costs
**Skills and experience**:
- Experience in materials management, inventory control, or logistics is desirable.
- Knowledge of supply chain management and inventory management on Ofbiz is desirable.
- Leadership skills with experience in supervising and managing teams are desirable.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
