**Account Handler - SME Insurance - Salary from £22,000 to £24,000, Brierly Hill**

Gallagher are looking for new Account Handlers in Brierly Hill to join our team and are conscious of the support our colleagues deserve during the cost-of-living crisis. Our response is to introduce a ground-breaking new scheme that ALL new colleagues are enrolled upon once they join our team:

- The starting salary of all our new Account Handlers will be no **less than £22,000**:

- Every 12 months, they will receive a **guaranteed pay increase** of £1000*
- This continues until their pay reaches £25,000 per year, upon which they revert to our standard 12 month pay review cycle
- *(Assuming no disciplinary and performance issues have been raised)_

**Things you need to know**:

- These are permanent roles
- We are based in Brierly Hill with thousands of free parking spaces for easy access.
- Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
- The starting salary is from £22,000 to £24,000 plus an annual bonus for achieving sales targets which ranges from £1,500-£7,000.
- We have a 6-month ongoing structured training programme and a dedicated training team to ensure you have all the support you need to be successful

**A bit about the job**:
In this role you will be helping a variety of small to medium size businesses find insurance policies that meet their needs. You will speak to new and existing customers who have made an appointment to discuss their insurance (there is no cold calling) and use your communication skills to build a rapport, gather the right information to understand their needs and help them find the right insurance policy, supporting them and providing excellent customer service along the way.

**Skills and experience we’re looking for**:

- Previous call centre experience is not necessary. We provide full training which covers everything from our product range to our phone system.
- Experience in a previous customer facing role is desirable, such as within retail, hospitality, care, education, or sales
- You will enjoy speaking to people and will use your outstanding communication skills to speak openly and expertly on the phone to customers. You will be able to build strong rapport and take a genuine interest in their needs
