We are recruiting for a Proofreader/Quality Control Operator to join our team in Witham.

Experience not necessary, just good computer skills

This role can be worked on a hybrid basis

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
You will be responsible for
- Checking digital files accurately in accordance to the material covered in the QA manual, this includes content, colour and printability
- Proofreading data and correcting where relevant
- Ensuring files conform to the client’s corporate guidelines (style)
- Checking images and graphics match the clients brief of colour
- Checking that files meet the printer’s specification for technical set up (the example size of the copy, thickness of lines and barcode sizing)
- To be proficient in all relevant software provided - Acrobat and Automation Engine. To utilise required systems correctly
- To be fully up to date with all master guidelines relevant to the client you are assigned to and have a working knowledge of other clients
- To communicate effectively
- To have good brand awareness, actively support the artwork department in achieving throughout the range and to follow the hero process
- To meet all required deadlines for your assigned client in conjunction with the Production Manager
- To actively participate in the pod or team you are part of, improving communication and working towards ‘a right first time’ approach

You will have:

- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent IT skills
- You will need to be adaptable and able to work independently
- Excellent communication
