**Overview**
We are seeking a number of Shot Peening Operatives to work in our shot peening facility in Slough, just west of London.

**Responsibilities**.
- Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications and in a timely fashion.
- Read and interpret Job cards/techniques and diagrams to select, position and peen products according to the relevant Specification.
- Ability to follow and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
- Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Work under immediate supervision.
- Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and mínimal unplanned stops
- Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with mínimal wasted time and materials
- Housekeeping and General Safety awareness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during production

**Skills**
- Experience of working in an engineering/ technical environment
- Ability to use hand tools for maintenance and repairs
- Experience with setting Almen strips and intensity curves is preferable
- A good eye for detail
- Ability to plan workflow
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting machinery

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

- Engineering: 3 years (preferred)
