**About the Role**

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine at Edge Hill University. Reporting to the FHSCM Administration Manager and the Faculty Executive team, you will provide and deliver professional administrative project management functions which will ensure that projects meet our obligations and development plans in a timely and professional manner.

The Project Officer will be responsible for the effective and efficient project management of two large projects within the Medical School and the School of Nursing and Midwifery. A key focus of the role will be working closely with the leadership and project teams in both Schools in the design and implementation of new and enhanced processes/systems in these areas to ensure an outstanding quality programme is delivered ensuring a positive student experience.

This will be a varied, and interesting role, which requires excellent organisational skills, flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines.

The post will be based at Edge Hill Ormskirk Campus, but occasional travel to other sites such as Alder Hey, Aintree, and St James Manchester may be required. The post will be fixed term for one year and will provide high level strategic project management for two large projects within the Faculty.

It is expected that you will work flexibly according to the ongoing demands of the job and responsibilities at this level.
