**The role**

The role of Test Automation Engineer is to play a leading role in the continuous improvement of the quality of their software, using automated test techniques in order to surpass customer expectations, being an advocate for generating and implementing ideaswhich improve quality and efficiency within the testing lifecycle, and coaching less experienced members of the team in order to drive expertise in the discipline of automated software testing.

This role gives an experienced automation tester the opportunity to not only put your own stamp on their automation testing but support in defining the strategy for the team moving forward.

**What can I bring to the role?**

It goes without saying that you will be passionate about testing software and you will bring with you a focus on quality assurance to help Identify test process optimisation opportunities and contribute to process optimisation.

You will need to have experience of automated testing methods as well as tools such as Selenium or Postman, testing interfaces between systems, the ability to read and write SQL scripts and an understanding of XML/json. This is an exciting opportunity fora tester who is looking to push themselves professionally with the support of an established organisation.
