You’ll take full responsibility for your area of production - ensuring smooth running and troubleshooting problems. But the role is about more than just efficiency. **In this role you will....**
- Lead by example, displaying the Reckitt Leadership Behaviours within both the department and across site
- Lead the coaching and development of the team, building engagement, open communication, succession planning and enhancing capabilities.
- Develop effective working relationships, internally and cross functionally to help support meeting the site and department key performance indicators.
- Ensure area manning levels are achieved through optimum performance of team members
- Monitoring of team members and team performance against daily targets as well as responding live to team issues and escalations
- Effectively set clear responsibilities, delegates and empowers authority; plans workload of team\equipment.
- Labour assignment within shift - adherence to roster and decisions on adjustments for unplanned absence
- Make staff allocation decisions to give max output at optimal efficiency whist ensuring safety and quality
- Drive engagement on the shop floor to ensure high morale and in turn great performance
- Provide feedback to the teams in the forms recognising achievement or improvements.
- Daily operations boards to be owned and updated throughout the shift by the on shift crew leaders.
