**POST TITLE: Funding Officer & Admin Support - 22.5hrs per week - £10.50ph**

Just Good Friends Club is a registered charity that supports adults with learning disabilities. Whilst offering respite for those living with adults with learning disabilities, we offer our members the freedom to explore new activities independent of their parents and carers.

**Our Vision**:
To provide a safe environment to our members, offering them a voice and a choice whilst increasing opportunities to socialise and build friendships within a club which is affordable to all.

**JOB PURPOSE**:
As a Funding Officer & Admin Support you will be enabling Just Good Friends Club to support vulnerable people with learning disabilities, helping them to take part in day club activities to live a fulfilled life.

**PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The duties and responsibilities detailed below are not an exhaustive list and the post holder will be expected to carry out any other duties deemed appropriate to the post.
- To identify accessible funding streams to cater for the needs of JGFC
- Research and identify possible Trusts, Grant Makers and visit personally wherever possible.
- Develop links with the private sector to provide sponsorship.
- To work closely with the Chief Operating Officer and Project Development Coordinator to achieve our objectives
- To work with staff to achieve their objectives
- To continue good links with other agencies.
- To undertake Office and Admin Duties to Support the General Running of the Office, Hubs & Clubs.
- Promote a positive image of the Just Good Friends Club as a whole at all times
- Monitor and maintain a safe working environment for self and others.
- Ensure effective communication with CCO,COO, Trustees and team members
- Attend training relevant to your role
- To attend staff meetings when required
- To work outside office hours when required
- To understand all aspects of GDPR
- To undertake any other duties as instructed by the COO & CCO who has overall responsibility for the Just Good Friends Club

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Good written and IT skills
- Good numeracy skills
- Organisation
- Confident and friendly manner
- The ability to work on your own initiative and prioritise your workload
- Good listening and communication skills
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to follow policy and procedures

**MANDATORY JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- DBS check to be completed.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 22.5 per week

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour
