**DOG TRAINER_ DOG BEHAVIOURIST_ DOG WALKER_WANTED**
**Looking to bring on an experienced trainer or behaviourist. Part time or ultimately full time. Level 3 minimum but higher better. Hammersmith.**
If you are super experienced then rates, times, agreement, whether your drive is all flexible. If you are less experienced and thus need more hands on time with dogs rather than teaching and / or want a flow of regular clients, so higher rates, then you may want to do dog walking as well as training and thus will need to drive the van's.
PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT ALREADY HAVE GOOD EXPERIENCE TRAINING OR DOGS OR HOLD QUALIFICATIONS THAT MAKE YOU VETY PROFICIENT IN CANINE LEARNING THEORY.
**How does it pay?**
An experienced behaviourist conducting walks and training appts should expect around £220/ day. Someone with little training experience and thus would require plenty of input teaching and qualifying should expect £100-£130/ day. Someone competent with a number of dogs and teaching the basics to a high standard with challenging dogs like recall & loose lead walking could expect about £165-£185/ day. If you are the best of the best in behaviour then there is no limit to what you could get.
If you are living in the area and up for having a couple of easy dogs to stay with you on a regular basis, you can expect about an extra £10k / year.
**When Can I start?**
We want you soon as possible but just let us know when you are ready? If you are less experienced we may need to choose a sensible time for you to join.
**What are the hours like?**
We can help you create your perfect day but generally a full day is Mon-Fri 8.30am
- 4.30pm. Am’s are quite important and Ideally we like to invest in people who can work a full day perhaps with the odd afternoon off a week to study canine learning theory if thats your vibe.
**Where is the work?**
Hammersmith, London W6
**Requirements**:
To use one of our vans you will need a Full manual drivers Licence and to have held it for at least 1 year & to be very Fluent in English. You are welcome however to supply your own van if you do not meed the requirement for ours.
**Perks**:
Company vehicle. Mentorship, tuition. Long term career possibilities such as equity in franchise, Management, training and behaviour qualifications. Tips. Bonuses.
**I already have my own business why do I want to be part of That Dog Guy?Mentorship**
You would be mentored through what courses to do and may have some of these paid for, for you. You would get the hands-on experience and mentorship you need to become accredited without having to pay to go to university or do weeks away.
**Cover**:
You won’t have the stress of arranging cover and can take whatever time you want off we just ask that you are a team player and do it when someone else is not off.
**Team**:
We have a really nice, fun team who have always got your back in your own dog emergencies and in general. We have BBQ’s and dinners etc but no obligation to come.
**Admin**:
I always wanted to do just dogs no admin. By joining us, you get that. No arranging invoices, insurance, licenses. No doing the logistics of clients or client intake faf, just pure dog fun.
**A Vehicle**:
Depending on your agreement, we have a van for you and you can keep it at weekends too if you like. (You would earn slightly more if you had your own Van.)
**Pay**:
There is not really a limit to how much you can earn. Training wise the better you are the more you can charge. Walks wise we can deliver a consistent full roster of dogs.
**Career**:
You could progress on to managing your own area with profit share or run a boarding and residential training retreat outside of London or become an amazing behaviourist. There may even be some TV opportunities one day in the future.
**Autonomy & Hours**:
So long as you are consistent and willing to be a team player you can choose your hours and what jobs and dogs you want or don’t want. We like people who want to work probably at least 46 weeks a year but in reality, if there is cover which with you joining, there should be, you have lots of flexibility.
A full day is usually about 8.30am-4.30pm and working every morning is pretty important but we will discuss what you want.
**Application**:
**Interview process**:
**_Round 1: Monday and Tuesdays of the week_**
A zoom with Beth. The next day maybe a Zoom with Beth and Tom as well.
- **Round 3: Weds to Friday of the week**:_

**_The Offer Friday PM_**
If we want you to work with us we will let you know on Friday PM. You will then need to accept or decline by the Monday morning.
