Provide direction across Group companies through insightful analysis of actual and projected performance. Design and influence systems and processes that support efficiency, accuracy, and insight by valuing data as an asset. Support and input on pricingstrategy and service resource allocation, focussing on driving improvement to profit margins. Undertake deep dive reviews and support a consistency of data and terminology across the Group.
**Job Purpose**
To provide direction and development of the FP&A function and contribute within the wider business through insightful analysis of actual and projected performance.
**Key Responsibilities as an Group FP&A Manager**:
- Lead the annual and quarterly financial planning process and manage stakeholders across the Group. Provide challenge and feedback to individual entities and ensure timetables are met.
- Review Group forecasting methodologies and assumptions, identifying opportunities for improvements and consistency between entities.
- Undertake sensitivity analysis on budgets and forecasts
- Work closely with the Group Financial Controller to establish and communicate intercompany recharge methodology
- Oversee the Board and financial reporting process to ensure accuracy and consistency including common data dictionaries.
- Distribute regular leader boards/growth charts
- Identify trends at both Group and entity level which highlight potential future opportunities or challenges including macro-economic factors
- Regularly review and assess the validity of sales bonus and commission schemes across Group, in conjunction with finance teams in each entity, and that qualification criteria are applied rigorously to ensure accurate payments.
- Support the monitoring, review and bench marking of product pricing across the Group
- Support the development of client level profitability ensuring consistency across the Group
- Provide effective finance business partnering support to centralised Group functions, such as payroll and procurement.
- Prepare and distribute Group Financial KPI's key to understanding the performance of the business, driving improvements to support Group and individual entity decision making and assessment
- Establish a strong working relationship with the Group B.I team to shape development of the data warehouse for the provision of financial information
- Undertake Ad-hoc analysis and review as requested by Group Board Directors
**Skills and experience required**:
- Must be Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Ideally 5+ years PQE
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Strong level of commercial experience
- Value based decision maker
- Advanced Excel
- Ability with or experience of other data analytic tools desirable
