**Role**

We are currently looking for a fee earner for our RTA Civil Liability Act, Official Injury Claims Portal Submission team to join our Road Traffic Accidents department.

This role will comprise of progressing new files that are handed over from our new client’s team, speaking to clients to discuss the RTA CLA/OIC portal process and to obtain any and all necessary information in order to submit the claim on the RTA CLA/OIC portal.

The role requires searches to be undertaken to collate information and the instruction of medical experts for a medical report. The caseload will predominantly be RTA Small Claims track but there may also be exposure to the fast track. Therefore, the role will require effective negotiation with compensators as well as the readiness to initiate Court proceedings where required and necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Good customer care skills including empathy and the ability to obtain information
- High degree of accuracy
- Administration or telephone-based customer service background is preferable
- Experience with the RTA portal is a distinct advantage
- Experience of a case management system

**Salary, Hours & Benefits**
- The salary for the RTA Portal Submission Fee earner is £21K OTE (£19.5K basic)
- Our standard working hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday-Thursday and 8:30am to 5pm Friday.
- 23 days holiday, rising 1 day per year to a max of 26 days, plus bank/public hols. Please note, the office is closed between Christmas and New Year and 3 holidays are reserved for this period.
- 3 holiday buy backs per year after 1 year of service

- Death in Service - 2 x salary based on annual salary only - eligibility commences when you join the company
