**Summary**

We are seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing purchase ledger transactions and ensuring accurate financial records. Your contributions will support our operations and help maintain our reputation for excellence in service.

**Responsibilities**
- Process purchase invoices and ensure they are accurately recorded in the ledger.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Assist with data entry tasks related to financial transactions.
- Maintain organised records of all purchase ledger documentation.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding invoice queries and payment status.
- Support the finance team in preparing reports and financial statements.
- Work collaboratively with our suppliers and other head office teams.
- Assist procurement with adjusting and amending PO's, updating databases etc.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a clerical or administrative role, preferably within finance or accounting. Within the construction industry would be beneficial but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
