Electrical Fitter

We are currently looking to recruit an Electrical Fitter who must be able to demonstrate the ability to work to the high standards set by the Company. You will need to have a proven track record of inspecting, servicing and repairing vehicles in addition to preventative maintenance of vehicles and other pieces of equipment. The Electrical Fitter will be working in an Engineering environment on road rail excavators.

**Job duties**
- Fitting and installing electrical components to heavy vehicles
- Electrical diagnostics using manual or laptop devises
- To commit to punctual attendance for day - to - day work
- Complying with all health and safety legislation and legal requirments is a priority.

**Skills Required**:
A qualification in heavy vehicle engineering (City and Guilds or NVQ) or a recognised indentured apprenticeship is ideal but not essential.

Previous Experience working on Machinery used in the the rail Industry would be beneficial but not Essential

**Location**

Based in Company Premises on the Gilchrist Thomas Industrial Estate, Blaenavon.

**Hours of Work**

Monday - Thursday 06:00 - 16:15 or 07:00 - 17:15 (1/2 Hr Lunch Unpaid)

Minimum 39 Hour Week before any overtime is paid.

**Overtime**

Time & half for hours worked Monday - Saturday.

Double time for hours worked Sunday.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.00 per hour
