This permanent Director of Finance & Resources role is for a unique, industry leading charitable organisation who has recently embarked on a new strategic journey, of which this role will play a crucial role in. Based in London and reporting directly intothe CEO, you will hold critical oversight of Finance, IT, HR and Administration whilst also working very closely with the Board and the rest of the Senior Management Team to drive the organisation forward and boost the performance of all the charity’s operationalfunctions.

**The key duties of this Director of Finance & Resources role are as follows**:

- Full responsibility for the development and implementation of the charity’s Financial, People and IT strategies.
- Take the lead in the production and presentation of financial working papers to the Board on a monthly basis.
- Attend bi-weekly senior management team meetings to discuss organisational performance and highlight the risks and opportunities of upcoming projects.
- Management of five direct and four indirect reports across all Operational functions, conducting regular one-to-ones, providing leadership and giving them opportunities to reach their full potential.
- Close liaison with the Chief Executive, Senior Management Team, Trustees, internal and external Stakeholders and the audit committee.
- Hold key oversight of the monthly and annual reporting cycles, ensuring all deadlines are met in a timely fashion.
- Ensure continuous commitment to a culture of efficiency improvements, ensuring all controls are fit for purpose and updated in line with changing reporting requirements.

This Director of Finance & Resources role is the perfect opportunity for a fully qualified professional with previous experience in a number one role who is now looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to influence both the operational and financialsustainability of an organisation in the short and long term. - Achieved their full accountancy qualification.
- Previous experience of working in a number one in finance role of a similar capacity.
- Ideally, a background working in the charity sector, but this is by no means essential.
- Experience managing a medium sized, multi-disciplined team.
- A strong track record of shaping organisational strategy and presenting papers to Board level.
- Brilliant communication and interpersonal skills.
