Our client is a not-for-profit organisation, providing thousands of people with good-quality support and care in a range of residential, drop-in centers, community floating support settings (including in peoples own homes), probation settings and people who are in hospital awaiting discharge. They currently do so across London, Brighton, Bedfordshire, Luton, and Kent.

The post of Head of Maintenance & Estate Services is a pivotal role leading the delivery of an effective, and efficient maintenance and estates services across the properties. The emphasis of the role is to:

- Ensure the professional, customer focused, delivery of the maintenance and estate services
- Ensuring the properties and estates are kept to required standards, obtaining maximum productivity, efficiency, quality, service and upholding all aspects of compliance and adhering to budget and required criteria.
- Lead your team of maintenance staff and patch caretakers to keep the estates well run and maintained; whilst ensuring safety and security.
- Be part of a team to mobilise new properties and return properties in a good state.
- Be responsible for developing initiatives to increase resident involvement.
- Taking the lead on value for money procurement for property services.

The successful Head of Maintenance & Estate will have:

- Previous experience of managing a property and maintenance service.
- Experience of day to day repairs management.
- Experience in dealing with of vulnerable clients within housing.
- A knowledge of maintenance databases and schedule of rates.
- Experience of contract administration and management, including JCT contracts.
- Experience in managing budgets, developing scheme appraisals and financial control.
- Experience in procurement.
- Experience of facilities management.
- Possess a full current UK driving licence.

**Salary**: £37,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
