**Residential Care Worker**

**Job Type**: Full and Part Time available

**Location**: Boston, PE22 0NX

**Salary**: Up to £34,000 per annum

Our client looks after children and young people who have moderate to severe learning disabilities and complex needs and they are committed to trying, caring, and working with their young people.

The organisation recognise every young person is different and should be treated as an individual and are devoted in their duty to responsibly educate, nurture and support the young people in their home. They want to provide opportunities for each youngperson to be the best they can be and lead happy fulfilling lives, despite the challenges they may have faced through their childhoods so far.

**Key tasks and Responsibilities**
- Encourage individuality, confidence, and self-esteem in those we support, optimising their quality of life, promoting their independence.
- Support young people in a range of educational and vocational activities both on-site and in the wider community
- Whilst bringing your own upbeat personality to work every day, become part of a great team
- Provide a range of support tasks such as personal care and develop their domestic and social skills.

**Role Requirements**
- Level 3 in Children and Young People / Health & Social Care is preferred but not essential as the organisation will enrol employees when they’ve passed their 6 month probation
