Social Media and Digital Marketing Coordinator

**About the role**

Booker Group has an exciting opportunity to join our Digital team. The team in based in our head office in Wellingborough.In this role, you will be developing and delivering the social media strategy and communications plan to increase brand awarenessand footfall across our four retail partner brands ; Premier, Londis, Budgens and Family Shopper, and our catering division.The role has two direct reports one for retail and one for catering.

**Role Responsibility**
- Implementing a social media strategy, ensuring consistency in tone of voice, aligning with the corporate promotional plan, and coordinating with stakeholders across the four retail brand teams.
- Developing and managing social media campaigns and day-to-day activity. Responsibilities include: preparing and posting content
- visual and written, briefing our motion graphics freelancer and managing the four separate brand sites.
- Managing paid for social media activity (advertising) -via our media agency.
- Providing advice and support for individual retail partners as required.
- Liaising with our media agency to provide regular analysis and updates on social media metrics, reviewing and reporting on effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results
- Managing and developing two direct reports, one for our retail brands and one for catering
- Managing cost centre budgets
- Advising our catering division, posting content and providing specialist support as required
- Working closely with promotional planning to ensure a cohesive delivery of the promotional activity.
- Providing B2B support when required - Linked in.
- Liaising with trading and suppliers to implement supplier funded activity

**You will need**

- Excellent communication and project management skills, numerate, commercial, passionate
- Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and how they can be deployed in different scenarios
- The ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and build and maintain relationships
- To be a team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide others when necessary
- Marketing, Sales and Community Management experience
- Knowledge of retail, food industry
- Previous experience of managing agencies
- To have had part or full responsibility for management of Marketing budgets
- To be customer focused
- Experience of managing direct reports
- Degree in Marketing preferable
