Our Kitchen Assistants provide support to our Chef & Kitchen team.

**Your duties will include**:

- Assisting the chef with food preparation
- Independently prepare hot meals/sandwiches for residents
- Load and unload dishwasher, wash up equipment unsuitable for dishwasher
- Clean kitchen and equipment
- Collect and distribute crockery from residents’ areas
- Clear tea trolleys where applicable
- Empty kitchen rubbish and keep areas clear of refuse
- Maintain a clean and hygienic environment

- Carry out reasonable requests, as instructed by the Chef

**About You**:

- A willingness to learn
- A reliable nature
- A flexible approach to your working pattern
- Previous experience working in a Care Home environment is desirable but not essential.
- A committed and organised approach.

**Working 26 hours per week, including alternate weekeneds**
