Job Title: Graduate Surveyor / Newly Qualified Surveyor Location: Harrow Council Employer: Pertemps Recruitment Partnership for Harrow Council Contract Type: Temporary Assignment (3 months - to be extended) Hours of Work: 36 hours per week Overview of a Graduate Surveyor/Newly Qualified Surveyor Pertemps have an exciting opportunity within Harrow Council for a self-driven and motivated Graduate Surveyor/Newly Qualified Surveyor to join an expanding team. The role of a Graduate Surveyor/Newly Qualified Surveyor has a competitive pay rate of £15.57 per hour (negotiable based on experience). The Main Purpose of a Graduate Surveyor/Newly Qualified Surveyor: " The post holder will be expected to acquire and develop the skills to undertake the full measure of duties set out. The development will be in accordance with the RICS chosen pathway and competencies that can be achieved within the role. Corporate Estateis primarily responsible for the valuation and management of the Council's property assets and the development and implementation of the Council's strategic property strategies, together with the delivery of the capital receipts programme in accordance withMTFS. " The post holder contributes to the work of the Service by undertaking the day to day management of the commercial portfolio in the General Fund and Housing Revenue Account and assisting with the preparation of asset valuations for Capital Accounting purposes.They also engage directly with other departments for HRA property and residential valuation work.
