Job Description - Research Analyst
Key responsibilities - Research Analyst
In this Research Analyst role, your responsibilities will include:

- Undertaking research, development, and proofreading of content, including topic-specific reports, articles, member Q&A and newsletters
- Conducting qualitative research by talking to relevant industry experts about the challenges and opportunities facing their businesses
- Interacting confidently with senior and C-level executives - listening and thinking on your feet, understanding how to ask the right questions to uncover the most relevant information
- Analysing investment industry data in order to write compellingly about key developments
- Drawing insights from the research figures to see, for example, which kinds of firms are winning market share and how technology affects the ways businesses work
- Writing reports and presenting them to groups as part of the wider team
Job requirements - Research Analyst
- BA or BSc degree in a finance-based discipline preferred
- A keen interest in the world of finance and investing
- Evidence of prior research work and writing from academic life, outside interests, or work experience
- Familiarity with Excel for creating graphs, lists, and pivot tables
- Numerate, with an eye for spotting trends in data
- Ability to source, process, and present quantitative and qualitative data on a range of key metrics with attention to detail
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
- A natural curiosity, self-confident and ambitious for your career in financial services
- Familiarity in creating data visuals would be a big advantage
