Compact Security Services are a high-quality security provider - providing crowd management solutions for events and festivals across the UK and door supervision for licensed premises across Manchester and the northwest.

We are growing and now have an opportunity for a **Part-time Recruitment, Vetting and Operational Support assistant**, to join the team based at our offices in Trafford Park - working 28 hours per week over 4 days, with some flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required

In this role you will support with recruitment and screening of new team members as follows:
- Placing of adverts on job sites and social media
- Phone screening applicants and arranging interviews and recruitment open days.
- Working with operational management to ensure recruitment levels and targets achieved and maintained
- Administration of all recruitment documentation
- Vetting of all new security team members to ensure all relevant documentation obtained and verified and work history checked in line with BS7858 screening requirements.

In addition, this role will support with event administration and also support operational managers where required in co-ordinating staff on events to ensure all checked in an allocated correctly - there will also be the opportunity to work additional hours supporting on events where required.

The role will be over 4 days with flexibility to work weekends and evenings where required (with notice), and would be ideal for someone who has previously worked in events/security staffing or is interested in learning and progressing their career within this area. Salary for the role starting from £23,000 pro rata

- Previous administration experience, organised and self motivated - essential
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a large and busy team
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft office in particular excel.
- Experience of recruitment and staffing essential with experience within events or event security operations desirable
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required - essential
- Knowledge of staff scheduling systems i.e. Parim desirable
