Part Time Payroll Officer

Are you currently looking for your next Payroll position?
Working for an international, growing business based from the Head Office close to Stockport, we are currently recruiting for a Part Time Payroll Officer to work 20 - 24 hours per week. Managing and running two payrolls from start to finish, this role willbe jointly responsible for the successful running of Payroll Services across the business.
What will you be doing as a Payroll Officer?
- Maintain and control holiday system records
- Ensure payments are processed in line with deadlines
- Maintain payroll reports and records required by the business
- Produce month and year end reports for the HMRC
- Ensuring all new starters are onboarded correctly
- Calculating pay details for starters and leavers, ensuring any salary adjustments are updated
- Calculating statutory deductions on an ad-hoc basis such as PAYE tax, national insurance, pension deductions, sickness and Parental leave payments
We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience working within a busy Payroll team
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office programmes
- High attention to detail
- Excellent problem solving and analysis skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated, confident to work independently and as part of a wider team
What will you get in return for your work as a Payroll Officer?
- Part time hours 20 - 24 hours per week Monday to Friday
- Salary of GBP25,000pa (Full time equivalent)
