**About the role**:
**This role can be based from our Manchester, Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh or Glasgow office.**

LUC is seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Project Administrator to join our friendly, award-winning Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) team in Manchester, Edinbugh or Glasgow. The role will be to provide dedicated support to our existing EIA Planning team. The EIA Project Administrator will carry out a wide variety of tasks which could include:

- Assisting with tendering processes, ensuring proposed subcontractors are properly vetted and eligible to be part of the team.
- Bringing together non-technical elements of tender proposals from internal and external members of the team and liaising with the Support Team to put tenders together.
- Sub-consultant contract administration which involves drafting sub-consultant agreements (from templates), issuing them and managing their return, highlighting any issues raised.
- Setting up projects on the Project Information System (in conjunction with Finance colleagues).
- Setting up projects on SharePoint, for sharing documents externally, including standard project folders and project start up documentation.
- Ensuring appropriate document management processes are being followed in accordance with Quality Assurance procedures.
- Undertaking basic consistency checks of draft documents, figures and technical appendices and ensuring team members have provided all relevant documents for review.
- Providing support in preparation, tracking, and compilation of technical appendices.
- Drafting Health and Safety Risk Assessments for off-site working and ensuring agreed processes are being followed.
- Support in format checking and finalising Environmental Impact Assessment Reports/ Environmental Statements.

The role includes the opportunity to share and participate actively in the management and ownership of the business through the Employee Ownership Trust, which places full ownership of the company with the employees.

The role is based in LUC’s offices in Manchester, Edinburgh or Glasgow. We work in a hybrid model with people being in the office a minimum of two days per week.

A full-time role is based on 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday). However, LUC has a strong track record in flexible working, and we have been recognised for our flexible working culture, so we are happy to discuss a range of flexible working options for this role including part time hours (minimum 30 hours per week) if desired.

**Salary**: £24,575 - £27,500 FTE (Dependent on experience).

**Experience and qualifications**

We are looking for an EIA Project Administrator to work with our specialist internal teams of ecologists, planners and landscape architects, our network of external consultants, and our high-profile clients on an exciting range of projects across the UK.

If you have the following qualifications, skills and experience we would like to hear from you:

- **Essential**_
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook is essential.
- Experience of using Adobe, PowerPoint, MS Teams, Intranet or document management systems.
- You must have prior experience in an admin role, where you have used general administrative skills and have a good eye for detail.
- You must be flexible, able to prioritise independently, manage multiple demands and work to tight deadlines, as these are key aspects of the role. The right person will meet these challenges with a helpful and positive attitude. This role also requires confident relationship building and communication at all levels within the organisation, as well as external contacts.
- You must be numerate and have a good standard of written and spoken English.
- Enthusiasm and a willingness to take on new challenges.
