Nights Care Assistant - 42 hours per week

Working 5 days over 7, 8pm - 8am on a rota basis

Your role as a Care Assistant, will be to provide person-centred care and support for residents. That includes personal care, mealtimes and engagement through activities, either in groups with shared interests or on an individual basis. You’ll also be there to provide a listening ear to those who need it most.

Every day will be interesting and varied - all our residents are different, from their care needs to their personalities and life experiences. What you’ll do can be inspiring and hugely enjoyable, as you build strong relationships based on understanding, trust and genuine care.

Devonshire House in Cavendish is home to well trained and helpful staff with rooms for up to 68 residents. At Anchor, we pride ourselves in providing 24-hour care and specialised services for elderly people, the beauty of our grounds, the quality of our catering and our engaging activities we deliver.

- The service is immersed within an active village community. We regularly host events at the home and can attend village events or use the community shop, tea rooms or three pubs
