LOCATION: Council Offices West Dunbartonshire Council 16 Church Street Dumbarton, G82 1QL SALARY: £48,670.08 - £53,214.08 per year dependent on experience CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent POSITION TYPE: Full Time HOURS: 35 hours per week WORK FROM HOME: Hybrid The post holder will be responsible for the co-ordination, strategic planning and monitoring of Adult Protection work on behalf of West Dunbartonshire Adult Protection Committee (APC) and partner agencies; to promote and support all areas of work relating to public protection with staff and partners. If you are an enthusiastic and proactive person, with a Social Work qualification, who will help us to drive forward our Adult Protection improvement plan, we would love to hear from you. **Requirements**: This post is considered as Regulated Work with Adults and Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council. **Responsibilities**: Applicants are, therefore, not statutorily entitled to withhold information about convictions which for other purposes are "spent" under the provisions of the Act.
