Handyman - Maintenance Work

Wembley (Static Role)

£17 per hour

Are you a skilled handyman with experience in maintenance work? Do you thrive on fixing and repairing things? The UK's largest Students Accommodation is seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our team in Wembley. This is a temporary position for the next 3-6 months, with a competitive hourly rate of £17.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conducting general maintenance and repairs in our student accommodation facilities
- Identifying and resolving maintenance issues promptly and efficiently
- Repairing or replacing damaged equipment, furniture, and fixtures
- Conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks
- Assisting with the setup and maintenance of common areas
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintaining accurate records of completed work and materials used

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in maintenance work, preferably in a similar role
- Proficient in basic maintenance tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and painting
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Basic tool kit for performing maintenance tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
