**Edge Coordinator**

**Up to £27,000 DOE plus benefits**

For more than 20 years’ multiple award winner, **Vets Now** has been developing and growing an out-of-hours emergency care service. We provide cover to over 1000 vet practices, have over 60 emergency clinics and specialist referral hospitals across the UK. Vets Now are truly at the cutting edge of pet emergency services.

We have a great opportunity for an experienced coordinator to join our Edge team. The Edge team are responsible for the delivery of training courses and programmes to aid the development of our Veterinary Surgeons and Veterinary Students. This allows operational continuity, giving people and their pets the care and support they deserve, at a time they need it most. We are looking for an individual who can make an impact, assist, and report to the Edge Programmes Manager with the delivery and coordination of the Student and Veterinary Programme.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Support the Edge Programmes Manager with the planning and running of the University Intermural Rotations and Extramural Electives.
- Support the Edge Programmes Manager with the planning and running of various Edge Programmes and other graduate development programmes..
- Plan and coordinate events, managing all aspects of event logistics, including booking Vets Now representatives or speakers, organising stock and coordinating transport of materials.
- Actively participate in all team meetings
- Assist on key allocated projects that will improve the outcomes of attraction and retention.

- Strong organisational skills to ensure all programmes/projects are delivered to a high standard.
- The ability to prioritise workload based on business needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive approach to problem solving.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail

The team are currently working from home, however, travel to and from the Support Office in Dunfermline would be required on a regular basis for project work and meetings. For those that prefer to work from an office and hot desk, hybrid working is an option. Travel to events and career fairs may be required from time to time also. Typical working hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, however, flexibility can be discussed, if required.
