**English Tutor - Functional Skills, Online Virtual Teaching, £26,000 - £28,000 - Fixed Term Contract ( 7 months - March to September)**

**Duties include;**
- Initial reviews of diagnostics to create learning groups of similar ability
- Designing and creating virtual ZOOM lessons to deliver English FS at Level 1 & 2
- Lesson planning to create stimulating and engaging lessons for students
- Use of ZOOM remote technology to create group and break out sessions
- Conducting 1-2-1 reviews and providing feedback to learners to aid successes

**Essential Skills & Qualifications**
- The person appointed is likely to have the skills and experience listed below;_
- Strong knowledge of English Functional Skills
- Confident understanding of ICT and remote communication technology ZOOM
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Proven record of ability to manage time and work to strict deadlines.
- Minimum GCSE grade ‘C’ in English or L2 equivalent.
- Evidence of ability to teach Functional Skills and to supervise learners

**Desirable Skills & Experience**:

- Comprehension of the Functional Skills curriculum, including the new reforms.
- Teaching/Training or Assessing qualification/s desirable but not essential.
