About the Role
Within Asset Management Strategy, we own and develop the strategy for the UK's Gas Transmission (GT) network assets, providing a clear line of sight to business objectives that are underpinned by asset investment drivers, business priorities and performance.We ensure that the wider GT business focuses on the right assets, in terms of replacement and maintenance activities, ensuring that our network delivers the reliability, performance and risk that will satisfy regulatory, statutory and customer requirementsnow and into the future.
As Senior Asset Management Specialist, you will own and front the development of the GT Asset Management Strategy, engaging with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders; ensuring Asset Management Strategies align with drivers of investment, prioritiesand desired business performance.
Key Accountabilities:
Front the development and evolution of Asset Management strategies that aim to optimise the whole life cost of all GT assets.
Engage key internal and external stakeholders to ensure all investment drivers and priorities are consolidated into asset strategies.
Own GT's Asset Management Strategy & Objectives (AMSO) annual review and its effective rollout across the business.
Engage GT senior leaders to agree on strategic Asset Management priorities and ensure compliance with ISO55001 and performance against Asset Management business management standards. Collaborate with the Asset Management Capability and Performance team on thestrategic development plan for improving/maturing Asset Management (within the AMSO).
Prioritise and implement plans for change required to meet GT Asset Management maturity goals. Provide technical advice and asset management coaching across relevant GT teams.

To succeed in this role, you will have:
An understanding of a wide range of NG Gas Transmission plant and equipment.
Extensive knowledge of asset management strategy, tools, risk management and quantification.
Experience in strategy development to achieve business goals.
Experience in developing business decision papers.
Excellent stakeholder management, proven ability to influence and engage with demonstrated capacity to successfully manage broad responsibilities and complex issues at senior organisational levels.
It is essential that you hold a degree level (or equivalent) education in a relevant engineering, numerate or scientific discipline and/or relevant experience.
What You'll Get
A competitive salary between £49,400 - £62,000 dependent on capability.
Salary enhancements are also available if key competency criteria are met.
