Apollo Home Healthcare are recruiting dedicated Healthcare Assistants who have a genuine interest in working with children and young people, to support our service user with his complex care needs.

Our service user is a teen male who is looking for support on a 1:1 basis throughout the day and night on a part time basis.

He enjoys spending time at school and then coming home to his loving family, where they all participate in sensory play and other social activities.

His hobbies include listening to all types of music, watching television and playing with his light up toys. Participating in the activities he enjoys doing, will be a key part of this role.

You will need to be able to work closing with our service user to fully understand his requirements, as he is unable to communicate this verbally. You will be using the process of elimination while anticipating his wants and needs.

He will already be in bed when you arrive on shift, however, will need you support with getting him up and ready in the morning. Previous experience working a waking night shift is desirable but not essential.

**Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.**

**Essential Experience Required**
- 3 months previous care experience
- Personal care
- Moving and positioning
- Medication Administration

**Desired Experience**
- PEG Feeding
- Oxygen Administration
- Non-invasive BIPAP

**We have the following shifts available**
- Full time and Part Time Days and Nights
- up to 46 hours per week
- Saturday Days
- 12pm-6pm
- Week Nights
- 10pm-7am
