Nurse Seekers are proud to be working on behalf of a thriving private day nursery who are looking to employ a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse for their quality Day Nursery based near Solihull. The Nursery Nurse must be passionate, enthusiastic and drivento give young children the best early years education and care needed for their development.
**You are Required to have**:
- Early years/childcare Level 3 Qualification (or equivalent).
- GCSE Maths & English C or above.
- Sound understanding of child development and of children’s needs along with the EYFS statutory framework.
- A positive approach to professional development
**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver outstanding learning opportunities and exceptional care
- To plan appropriately for your key children’s development using the EYFS curriculum and will observe and extend their learning
- To be able to work as part of a team to ensure the safety and well-being of the children in your care
- Be a good communicator, used to building relationships with children, parents and professionals to deliver thoughtful and creative childcare
- Make accurate and effective assessments of the children during the key stages of development
- Adhere to the policies and procedures at Nursery and work within the Child protection act, health and safety legislation and
- within the guidelines of Ofsted and National Standards
- To work as part of a team and support members of staff and children in the nursery.
