**Resident Liaison Officer**

Established in 1899 George Jones & Son (Contractors) Limited have always specialised in commercial painting and decorating, it’s what we’re known for. In the time since, we have diversified and now offer several trades surrounding building maintenance and pre-paint repairs. Our specialism, however, is the cyclical pre-paint repair and redecoration of social housing, having completed over 150,000 in the last 20 years alone.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team, as we are currently recruiting for the role of a Resident Liaison Officer to work on contracts covering the northwest. The current hours are Monday to Friday 9.30am to 2.30pm but we are willing to be flexible on these hours, so long as the 22.5 hours required are completed.

The role is site based as you will be liaising with residents about the works being undertaken on their property, with just a small percentage of your time working in our offices, you will therefore need to hold a full clean uk driving licence.

You will be hard working, an excellent communicator and be able to build and maintain effective working relationships with our site team, residents and clients. You will be confident to work independently and also as part of our team. You will be IT literate and, have an organized and methodical approach.

To assist with the delivery and customer liaison of various programmed Painting & Decorating & Maintenance Contracts. You will be working with residents on a daily basis to ensure communication is maintained at all times, and that we are accommodating their individual needs. You will be resolving customer queries, questions and complaints and liaising with the site managers and our trade’s people to ensure all work is completed as planned. Ideally you will have previous experience of using Windows and Excel and Teams.

**Essential**:You must hold a full clean driving licence as this role is mostly site based with a small element of admin to be completed from our office.

**Principle duties include: -**
- Prepare, update and print out all tenant contact letters ready for delivery.
- Complete Supported Colour Choice Surveys on site with tenants.
- Act as the main point of contact, resolving problems/queries from residents.
- Complete Tenant Satisfaction Surveys on site with residents.
- Monitor Tenant satisfaction through weekly report.
- Monitor customer complaints and resolve any potential issues.
- Maintain the list of Programmed work and Address Lists.

**Skills**
- You are an excellent communicator, a problem solver with excellent interpersonal skills.
- You are confident, polite and courteous when communicating, and good at building relationships with residents, clients, and site operatives.
- You will be ecxellent at working independently as well as being a team player.
- You will have excellent organizational skills and a strong work ethic.
- You will have excellent IT skills and be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel and Teams

**Desirable Skills and Qualifications**
- Ideally experience in a similar role in social housing.
- Must hold a full clean driving licence
- £11.50 per hour - You will be paid 22.5 hours per week.
- Hours of working are currently Monday to Friday 9.30am to 2.30pm - We are willing to be flexible on these hours so long as the required 22.5 hours is completed.
