What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Inspector will be involved in a wide range of activities in relation to the inspection of mobile crushing chambers to meet on-time deliveries in the most effective manner.
Duties include:
- Actively addressing and raising quality concerns on a day-to-day basis- Verification of machine build to standards with production team- Inspection of final chamber for dispatch in condition to meet customer needs.- PDI reports, meetings, and other associated paperwork- Control and issue of serial plates- Responsibility to escalate any on-going issues- Completion of all internal paperwork related to chamber dispatch- Supporting in quality investigations as required- Internal auditing- Showing dealers and suppliers around chambers when required- Adhering to strict quality targets- Working as part of a team to develop continuous improvement.- Maintaining compliance to all Health and Safety Regulation
Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience in a quality/inspector role in manufacturing- Electrical experience- Hydraulic experience- Basic computer skills- Good teamwork and communication skills- Good awareness of health and safety- Ability to create clear handwritten reports- Experience in continuous improvement
