Working in a small team you will oversee every aspect of the supply chain within the business. - **Location**:Pangbourne - **Working Hours**: Monday - Friday, 9AM - 5PM - **Job Type**: Permanent - **Salary**: £30k - £35k + bonus **As the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for**: - Assessing materials requirements, plan purchases to replenish stock and meet demand - Scheduling made-to-order jobs into production, scheduling batch assembly jobs into production - Project-managing orders to completion - Co-ordinating with design team on production of bespoke or new designs - Supervising the in-house assembly team - Planning and organising batches for outworking - Stock management - Workshop organisation, health and safety and housekeeping oversight - Managing quality issues and phase-in phase-out of parts - Carrying out quality and safety checks on orders - Managing day to day relationships with suppliers - Maintaining accurate pricing in system and work with Technical Director / MD to ensure optimal procurement process - Working to production management process manual, update with any changes - Involvement in company-wide projects **Essential skills / qualifications**: - Experience of working in a quality or general role within a small-scale manufacturing business would be advantageous - Experience of managing projects to deliver quality outcomes on time and to budget. - Organised, consistent, and have excellent attention to detail. - Confident, pro-active, and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines. - Have a "can do" attitude and be a practical problem solver, happy to roll sleeves up to get the job done where needed - Have excellent IT skills, be an expert user of MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Windows Explorer.
