Service & Parts Assistant

**_The Role: _**
As an apprentice Service & Parts Manager, you will be depot based and expected to work with the Service Manager to ensure all parts and service enquiries are dealt with promptly, orders processed, dispatched and stock kept within required stock limits

**_Hours _**
8am to 5pm Mon to Fri “excluding bank holidays” & early or late week day & Saturday overtime expected but not compulsorily

**_Key Responsibilities_**
- To ensure all parts orders are dealt with efficiently, dispatched as required and all relevant invoices are raised in a timely manner.
- To support when required any hire desk and sales enquires via all platforms as above
- To ensure that all service repairs and warranty work received into the depot is booked in correctly, paperwork completed and noted on our system and to ensure that all equipment is placed, stored, and organised neatly and safely. Ensure that all invoices are raised, and the customer is billed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Assisting the Service Manager to ensure that all workshop service consumables and spare parts are ordered, stored correctly and safely organised. Raise PO’s for all goods ordered.
- Ensure all GRN’s are checked against PO’s and receipted to Syrinx promptly on delivery.
- Book any transport requirements through the Pallet Network (Frenni) system on a daily basis.
- Follow a daily, weekly and monthly work plan delegated by the Service Manager
- Manage all MHM visitors in a courteous and polite manner at all times
- Contribute, represent, strengthen and enhance the MHM brand and reputation at all times
- Self-plan, manage and complete your daily / weekly / monthly workload
- Be expected to attend and support any trade exhibitions or customer open days should the directors require you to do so
- Any other task as requested by the directors or management team that would be reasonable for your position.
