Laundry Supervisor

**Job Overview**

We would prefer someone who's worked in a laundry setting before so that they can bring something to the role.

**Duties**
- Operate washing machines and dryers, ensuring proper loading and unloading of laundry.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, and towels.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area, including regular cleaning of machines.
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling chemicals and equipment.
- Respond promptly to requests from other staff members regarding laundry needs.
- To ensure that stock is maintained and any damages are reported.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a laundrette or similar environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods.
- A positive attitude and excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with team members.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 38 per week
