Our Building Control team currently deliver services to a wide and diverse range of customers in the residential, commercial, educational and health care sectors covering all types of projects.

**What you will need**

We are looking to appoint an experienced professional and enthusiastic Building Control Surveyor to join our friendly, responsive and highly regarded busy team providing a high-quality cost-effective service to our customers.

A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of building, construction and building control legislation is essential, as is commercial awareness, an organised proactive approach and being able to work in a team. The ability to work flexibly with technology will also be required.

You should hold a full membership of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers, The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors or Chartered Institute of Building or alternatively be an Associate Member with experience in Building Control. You will need proven ability to deal with complex low-rise buildings and major work schemes. You should hold or be working towards the Level 5 Diploma in Public Service Building Control.
