An opportunity has arisen for a Financial Analyst to join our client in the South Liverpool area. The purpose of the role will be to support the finance and accounting team by completing clerical and accounting tasks. On offer is a basic salary of £25,000 to£30,000 working Monday to Friday during core office hours. The roles are offered on a permanent basis.
The main duties of a Financial Analyst are;- Assist with the production of monthly management accounts
- Create and post monthly journals (accruals, prepayments etc)
- Assist with stock valuations and costs
- Processing payment requests
- Conducting balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany accounts
- Assist in preparing cost centre budgets and forecasts - analysing variants
- Supporting in the completion of periodic statutory return eg VAT, EC Sales etc
- Preparation of audit packs
- Ideally you will also have some analyst or financial experience
- Ability to take full responsibility for workload and plan accordingly
- Feel confident reporting into management on any discrepancies
