**Business Area/Dept Overview**

Global Prime Brokerage (PB) and Electronic Execution Operations function is part of Operations.

It is a global team and provides operational services to the global Prime Brokerage and EE clients across cash, synthetic and EE business lines. Teams are based in London, the US, Lisbon, India and APAC. It is a client and front office facing team who areintegral to the business offering to our clients. The primary processes supported are : trade support; client services; settlements, wire payments, margin and corporate actions.

**Description**

**Purpose & Scope of role**
- To perform a client service role answering Client queries in relation to Corporate Action & Income Events. The role will utilise a follow the sun model, with colleagues based in HK and US in addition to London, providing seamless support.
Scope:

- Corporate Action and Income events across all products held by Prime Brokerage Clients - primary focus is on EMEA market queries.

**Key Responsibilities of role**

Primary Responsibilities of Corporate Actions - Clients Services:

- Be a single point of contact for internal and external clients in relation to any Corporate Action/income queries. Work with internal/external parties to investigate each query and provide an answer within the agreed SLA.
- Identify themes in relation to queries, investigate each theme with a view to improving the Client experience and reducing the number of queries received.
- Ensure timely and appropriate level of escalation pertaining to client-impacted issues.
- Work closely with ISPL and Lisbon to ensure accuracy and completeness of corporate action processing, provide guidance and training where needed.
- Get involved in projects/initiatives globally and locally, to provide new service to clients, achieve efficiency/cost reduction, mitigate operational risk.

- Minimize operational failure, including but not exclusively the risk of fraud by helping to devise and by implementing sufficient regular controls.
- Comply with internal and external regulatory and compliance requirements

**Profile**

Essential Experience of Corporate Actions - Clients Services
- 3 years Corporate Actions Processing experience
- A thorough understanding of financial markets and income and corporate actions for Prime Brokerage and Swap.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to articulate complex matters clearly and concisely.
- Proactive and collaborative mindset, can adapt to constantly changing environments.
- Previous experience in client facing and/or operational roles for Corporate Actions
