**West Cambridge | Starting at £32,322 | Full time | Hybrid 2-3 days in office
Ever dream of using your data skills to make a real impact? At Cambridge Enterprise, we're not just pushing papers, we're fuelling innovation that changes the world.
**Why Cambridge Enterprise?**:
We are at the heart of Europe's most successful research and technology cluster and we're on a mission to bring innovation to life, making a difference to society, the UK economy, and the University of Cambridge. We connect the innovative minds of the University’s academics with the funding, start-up expertise and commercial relationships they need to help their ideas thrive.
Our success stories include an electric vehicle charging technology that's as convenient as filling up with petrol, a programme to prevent ideological extremism, and the world's first treatment for a rare cause of blindness. Now, we need a Personal and Data Administrator to join our team at our vibrant West Cambridge site.
**Why you will love this role**:
As a Personal and Document Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Seed Funds team to launch new companies while maintaining and enhancing team data systems.
Your day to day will look like this:
- Being a linchpin in the Seed Funds team, ensuring data for groundbreaking ventures is captured accurately and efficiently.
- Championing efficiency by streamlining processes, identifying improvements, and helping us work smarter, not harder.
- Spearheading the data collection process for our annual valuation survey, ensuring accuracy.
- Being the gatekeeper of accuracy, meticulously maintaining agreements, share certificates, and board papers, safeguarding sensitive information.
- You will support world-changing innovations, knowing your meticulous work is helping bring life-changing tech and discoveries to the world.
- Attend Investment Committee meetings, providing minutes and notes that help the team shape the future of groundbreaking ventures.
- Collaboration: Working in tandem with the PA to Seed Funds, managing the inbox and providing cover as needed. You’ll also work alongside passionate experts in a supportive and friendly environment.
- You will grow your skills: gaining valuable experience in data management, investment processes, and more.
**What we're looking for**:
- We need someone who navigates complex systems with ease, ensuring accurate and timely data entry and retrieval. Your expertise in Microsoft 365 will be key.
- Juggling multiple tasks with a smile is your secret talent. You prioritise effectively, meet deadlines consistently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- You collaborate seamlessly with your team and build strong relationships that foster trust.
- You tackle problems and challenges head-on and find creative solutions.
- You're passionate about making a difference and eager to learn.
- You can juggle multiple tasks with ease, even under pressure.
***:
**Nice to have**:
- Experience with company creation, investments, or intellectual property is preferable, but this is not essential.
**Diversity and equality matter**:
**Working for Cambridge Enterprise**:
Our benefits package is impressive. With 30 days of annual leave, a generous University pension, health and lifestyle benefits and a modern office at West Cambridge, you'll thrive in this vibrant academic and innovation community.
