Sharpsmart Normanton are currently recruiting for a Shift Supervisor position, to work a rotation of Day & Late shift.
As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a diverse and talented operations team. Your primary goal is to properly organise staff members and achieve a reasonable workflow throughout the day. Your position will also support the Plant supervisor in directing, performance managing, training, and assisting production employees on your shift.
Daily duties will include but not limited too:
- Coordinating treatment shift production team
- Shift handover duties and shift logs
- Completion of relevant paperwork including data capture
- Routine compliance checks and spot checks
- Monitoring treatment equipment and recording performance and checks
- Daily team meetings and communicating targets
- Management of on-site stock levels
- Team management including performance reviews, staff training and rota control.
What are we looking for?
- 2-3 years leadership experience (or relatable experience)
- Someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience within a similar operational setting
- Experience within improving processes & procedures
- A can-do, hands on attitude - willingness to learn, develop and bring ideas to the team
